Principal - Lisa Marshall

Hello Students, Staff, Families and Friends of NWES!

I am looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year with great excitement. I have been a Jr. Cardinal since my move back to Jacksonville in 2006. I served as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and now Principal at Northwoods Elementary. I am honored that I was chosen to lead such an amazing school and school community.  I am committed to continuing the great work that is being done here for our students. I look upon this position as an opportunity to learn even more about our school community and for you to learn more about me as a leader.

I wholeheartedly believe that great schools are the result of great teachers. My primary goal is to continue to support the teachers of Northwoods Elementary School and to provide them with the tools they need to continue to be successful in helping your children grow and prosper. 

I am thrilled about this school year and look forward to working with our Assistant Principal, Kimberly Thomas to ensure that the students of NWE have a school year filled with quality instruction and learning fun. Please get involved with our school PTO to guarantee your voices are heard and know that my door is always open to you.
